Tre sømænd fanger en havfrue i deres fiskenet. Sømændene forblændes af deres fangst, men den gamle erfarne skipper beordrer havfruen smidt tilbage i havet. Langsomt starter mytteriet på kutteren.
Three sailors catch a mermaid in their fishing net. The sailors are dazzled by their catch, but the old, experienced skipper orders the mermaid to be thrown back into the sea. Slowly, a mutiny begins on the cutter.
